Initiated!

Yesterday night, I started on the “new collection”. I have in mind a peplum top with embroidery and the Hmong printed scarf. I know I know, it may have too much materials in one article, but I think it’ll be fine. Besides, I want this collection to be more Hmong; the first one was too modern or American. I guess the hard part is getting the execution exactly as I have in my mind so that it doesn’t look tacky. Hmong items are colorful and when I like an item, it is mainly because I like the color combinations. Weird thing is, I can’t seem to get red and green together on a dress without it looking Christmassy. Anyway, below is a photo of what I could get done yesterday night. My embroidery machine is BROKEN, so I am very limited to using embroidery :(
